The Boys Soccer team (2-5) lost another tough battle on Wednesday, falling 1-0 to Tri-West HS at home.  Covenant controlled much of the possession throughout the game, but struggled to find the back of the net. Tri-West picked up the game’s lone goal in a breakaway late in the first half.

The Warriors outshot the Bruins 25-4, with 19 of those 25 on frame.  Covenant peppered the goal multiple times in the match’s final fifteen minutes, including hitting the crossbar, but TWHS Senior goalkeeper Sam Sorgius made several stops to preserve the shutout.

CCHS is back on the home pitch tonight, as they host the Sparkplugs of Speedway HS in a V/JV doubleheader at 5/6:30 pm.
