Girls Varsity Golf · Egenolf, Cooper All-City, as Covenant Places Fourth

The Girls Golf team competed in the City Tournament today at South Grove Golf Course.  CCHS shot a 368 as a team to place fourth in the Tournament.  Bishop Chatard HS is this year’s City Champion, winning the tournament with a 338.  Heritage Christian took second place with a 355, while Cathedral HS took third place with a 364.  Cardinal Ritter HS shot a 388 for fifth place, while Shortridge HS took sixth with a 474.  2018 City Girls Golf Tournament Official Results.

Senior Faith Egenolf shot a 71, good for second place as an individual.  Junior Anna Cooper shot an 88, which placed her seventh overall.  Both players are on the All-City Team for this year, based on their Top Ten finish in the City Tournament.

Juniors Kenzie Amico (101) and Grace Flasher (110) rounded out the Lady Warriors scoring, while Junior Ellie Daugherty shot a 117.  All five Covenant golfers shot their personal best for 18 holes today.

Covenant will be back on the course next Friday at noon at South Grove GC to compete in IHSAA Sectional #19 hosted by Ben Davis HS.
